Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23 in 1992. She is an American actor, singer and songwriter. Her distinctive , raspy voice is a hallmark of her music, which blends elements of a variety of styles and genres including country pop, rock experimental, pop and rock. With 13 entries, Cyrus is the female artist who has had the most US Billboard 200 Top-five Albums in the 21st century. Her public life, personal images, and performances often provoked controversy and received widespread media attention. Cyrus was born to Billy Ray Cyrus and became an teen idol after she was cast in the title role in the Disney Channel television show Hannah Montana (2006)-2011. As Hannah Montana, she attained three top-five soundtracks in the US Billboard 200, including the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "He Could Be the One". Cyrus's personal discography includes US top-ranked albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) and Bangerz (2012); the top five album releases, Can't be Tamed (2017), Younger Now (2017) and Plastic Hearts (2020); and Miley Cyrus and His Dead Petz (2015). In 2014, she began an animal-free lifestyle. She founded the Happy Hippie Foundation in 2014. It focuses on young people's homelessness as well as the LGBT community.
