Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly Bio

Jessica Kelly Siobhan Reilly, an English actor from the UK. She received an Laurence Olivier Award for her performance in After Miss Julie at the Donmar Warehouse (2003--2004). Her TV and film credits include Eden Lake (2008) and Sherlock Holmes (2009). Reilly was the daughter of Jack Kelly, a former police officer, and also a hospital receptionist mother. She was educated at Tolworth Girls' School located in Kingston where she studied GCSE drama. Her grandparents are Irish. Reilly wrote to the Prime Suspect's production team asking for work. Six months later, she auditioned for a role in Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle. The episode aired on ITV 7 May, 1995. She appeared in the episode "Bramwell" which was a period drama television series, starring as Kathleen Le Saux, a unhappy young wife. Six years later, she played with Helen Mirren on Last Orders. She was in four productions together with Terry Johnson: Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000), and Piano/Forte (2006). Johnson composed Piano/Forte and has stated that she was a fan of Kelly. Reilly says that Karel Resz, who directed her in The Yalta Game (Dublin) in 2001 was the one who taught her the most about acting. She has said that Reilly was her"masterclass. If I hadn't seen that production, it would have been difficult for me to be Miss Julie.
